Natural marble stone slab detail

Granite & Natural Stone Countertops

Granite, marble, quartzite, limestone, onyx, soapstone, travertine, or any other stone of your liking. Each slab is unique. We'll help you find the one that's yours.

Natural Stone, Fabricated & Installed Locally

No two slabs of natural stone are alike — which is exactly why it pays to choose yours in person. We'll arrange for you to see and pick your actual slab at our suppliers, and owner Sandy Eisenberg-Freud and her team will walk you through granite, marble, quartzite and more to match the right stone to how you use your kitchen or bath.

From there we handle everything: measuring and templating, fabrication, your choice of edge profile, and installation — for homeowners, designers and contractors throughout Rockland, Orange and Bergen County. Natural Stone Countertop FAQ

What's the difference between granite, quartzite and marble?

Granite is hard, heat-resistant and comes in bold, speckled and veined patterns — the classic choice for busy kitchens. Quartzite is just as tough but often has the soft veining of marble. Marble is the most elegant of the three but softer, and it can etch from acidic foods and cleaners.

Do granite countertops need to be sealed?

Most natural stone, including granite, marble and quartzite, benefits from a penetrating sealer that helps it resist stains. How often depends on the stone — a quick water-drop test will tell you when it's time. We'll tell you what your specific slab needs.

Can I pick out my exact slab?

Yes. We can arrange for you to view the actual slabs and pick yours directly at our suppliers. Because every natural stone slab is one of a kind, we recommend seeing it in person: if you choose from pictures and commit to a slab, it cannot be returned to the supplier.

Is natural stone good for outdoor kitchens?

Granite is an excellent outdoor choice — it handles heat, cold and direct sunlight well. Softer or more porous stones like marble and limestone are better suited to indoor spaces.

How much do granite countertops cost?

Price depends on the stone you choose, the square footage, your edge profile and the number of cutouts for sinks and cooktops. Every estimate from Granite Guys is free — call or send us your project details for an exact quote.

What edge profiles can I choose from?

We offer a range of edges including eased, bevel, bullnose, ogee, cove, Dupont and waterfall. You can see each profile in the Edging section on this page.

What areas do you serve?

We install natural stone countertops throughout Rockland, Orange and Bergen County, including Monsey, Suffern, Spring Valley, Nanuet, New City, Mahwah and Ramsey, and take on larger projects across Westchester and the wider tri-state area.
